Donation Of Future Assured Packages to Patients in Kano Hospitals 

Wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari has distributed provision packs to patients in three hospitals in Kano. The donation was part of her efforts to improve the health of citizens through proper nutrition.

Mrs. Buhari said the health of every Nigerian is very important and most be taken seriously. She advised the patients to be conscious of their nutrition, observe their medication regularly and adhere to the advice of the doctors, to enable them remain healthy and productive members of the society.

The hospitals that received the provision packs are Murtala Muhammad General Hospital Sir Sunusi Hospital and Waziri Gidado General Hospital.

Mrs. Buhari was represented by wife of Kano State Governor Dr. Hafsat Ganduje who used the occasion to call for strong partnership between Government and the private sector in order to address some of the health problems confronting the citizens.

She appealed to well-meaning citizens to continue to show compassion to the poor and vulnerable in the society and commended the staff of the hospital for their dedication and commitment to work.

The patients expressed their appreciation for Mrs. Buhari’s gesture of goodwill, stating that her sense of compassion was motherly.

It would be recalled Mrs. Buhari has been distributing such items to the less privileged especially in various hospitals across the country.
