Wife of the President Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari says corporate and individual efforts will go a long way in addressing some of the problems confronting internally Displaced persons.

Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari stated this when she received a delegation of Directors of the Flour Mills Of Nigeria who Donated a Truck Load of Assorted food Items for Distribution to the internally Displaced Persons.

Mrs Buhari said that although the individual Governments of the affected Areas were doing their best, other organizations and well-meaning individuals could do more to put a smile in the faces of the inhabitants of the camps before eventual relocation to their original abodes.

She however commended the series of efforts, concern and sympathy accorded the displaced persons by some Nigerians which she noted will had meaningful impact on their wellbeing.

The Wife of the President thanked the management of the company for the gesture which she said will be effectively utilized for the purpose it was donated.

The leader of Delegation Alhaji Olalekan Salihu who presented the items on behalf of the managing Director of Flour Mills Of Nigeria Mr Paul Gbededo said they have so far donated food products valued at about twenty three million Naira to IDPs in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states as part of their corporate social responsibility of improving the lives of the affected people.

Alhaji Olalekan said that their organization is committed and willing to partner with the initiative of the Wife of the President where necessary.
