Aisha Buhari Donates Food Items To People Living With HIV/AIDS

Wife of the president Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has again called for necessary assistance from corporate organizations and well meaning Nigerians in complimenting the efforts of government in the health sector .

Mrs buhari made the plea while presenting assorted food items to Hiv patients at the national hospital Abuja .

She said that the health of every Nigerian was very paramount and requiring attention to provide care for those categories of patients particularly victims afflicted by HIV aids receiving care in different medical facility accross the country .

The wife of the President emphasized that the intervention of the private sector and international partners was noticeable but requiring more efforts to ensure that nigeria attain a zero level record in areas posing threat to the health of the citizens .

She explained the gesture was part of efforts to intervene in the health sector particularly on women and children with the commendable assistance of some corporate bodies who made donations to alleviate the demands of the vulnerable groups and the internally displaced persons.

Mrs Buhari also advised the patients to be regular on medical assistance and strict adherence to prescription Inorder to remain healthier and productive members of the society

In her remarks ,the wife of the vice president mrs Dolapo Osinbanjo noted the initiative of Mrs Buhari which she said will go a long way in complimenting the effort to address the seeming challenges facing some Nigerians in the Health sector.

The chief medical Doctor jafaru Momoh said the clinic had so far received twelve thousand clients on different medical attention out of which nine thousand were adults and three thousand children.

Doctor Momoh commended the wife of the president for the gesture which will complement their demand to cater for the the patients .

The Items include one thousand bags of rice and hundreds of cartons of indomie noodles and cooking oil .
